Complies with MARPOL 73/78, Annex II, Regulation 17 requiring any ship of 150 tons gross and above, certified for the carriage of noxious liquid substances to have a SMPEP approved by the administration. In the case where Annex 1, Regulation 37 also applies it may be combined with the SOPEP.
