The Mareflex MF03 are the new-generation Antispray Tapes designed with the aim of protecting pipeline installations against uncontrolled oil spraying and leakages in accordance with the latest SOLAS Consolidated Edition 2009, Chapter II-2/ Regulation 4, item 2.2.5.3.

Anti-Splashing Tapes

The function of Mareflex anti-splashing tapes is to transform a mist of flammable substances into a liquid and allow it to drip away in order to eliminate the risk of flammable mist combustion.

Leaks or sprays of pressurized fluids, such as hydraulic fluid, lube oil or fuel oils, onto hot surfaces are the potential sources of ignition.

MF03 Probably the best Antispray Tape in the world

The MF03 is an upgraded version of well-recognised MF01 Antispray Tapes and offers significant improvements in performance, with the ability to withstand pressure up to 25 bars.
The improved and reinforced structure of new Antispray Tapes outperforms the previous models in terms of pressure resistance, while maintaining its ease of installation. The user-friendly design of MF03 Tapes is especially advantageous when it comes to fitting the tape around the more complex shapes often found in their working environments.
