MF04 Antispray Tape

High Pressure Anti-Splashing Tape

The Mareflex MF04 are ultra-strong Antispray Tapes designed with the aim of protecting pipeline installations against uncontrolled oil spraying and leakages in accordance with the latest SOLAS Consolidated Edition 2009, Chapter II-2/ Regulation 4, item 2.2.5.3.

High-Pressure
Anti-Splashing Tapes

MF04 anti-splashing tapes serve as a splash guarding for flanged connections in the fuel oil and lubricating oil systems to prevent oil from spraying onto hot surfaces, air intakes, electrical installations or other potential sources of ignition.

The lack of screening or incorrect installation of anti-splash tapes can lead to oil sprays, which may cause an engine room fire, posing a risk of personal injury and damage to machinery.
