DURAMARK PRO material has been developed specifically for the production of AS12 Pre-coiled Pipe Markers. The multi-layer composition of DURAMARK PRO significantly extends the lifespan of markers, making them an ideal choice for pipe labelling especially in the marine, offshore and process industries.
What is DURAMARK PRO Technology?
DURAMARK PRO Technology is a specially developed composition of premium materials and advanced manufacturing processes, designed to withstand the most challenging marine and offshore conditions.
This well-engineered composition includes a specially coated polyester film resistant to high temperatures, thermoplastic paints available in wide range of colours adapted to a variety of industry standards, a 3M™ material sealing strip and a UV-filtering laminate that protects the printed area, reinforcing durability and longevity.
What are the Benefits of DURAMARK PRO?
AS12 Pipe Markers, made from DURAMARK PRO material, are highly resistant to typical marine conditions such as salt spray and moisture, which are common contributors to corrosion. AS12 Pre-coiled Markers do not rely on adhesive for application, which helps to eliminate the risk of corrosion beneath the label – a frequent issue with conventional adhesive-backed pipe marking.
DURAMARK PRO material is designed to withstand operating temperature up to 130°C and prolonged exposure to UV radiation. Excellent UV filtering properties of the laminate offer high outdoor resistance to weather conditions and improve colour fastness, maintaining the structural integrity, visual clarity and legibility of the color-coded labels.
Resistance to mild chemicals and solvents means the pipe markers are less likely to degrade, peel or fade over time. Markers that preserve their integrity under common chemical exposure conditions provide consistent communication about pipe contents, aiding in accident prevention and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
In case of markers relocation, this is possible thanks to their self-bonding construction. AS12 Pre-coiled Markers can be reused. Only new 3M™ sealing strips are required for reapplication and these are available upon request.

It engages eco-friendly and solvent-free paints, which are GREENGUARD® and ECOLOGO® certified to meet some of the most rigorous standards for low chemical emissions and a range of stringent human health criteria. They offer health and environmental advantages over eco-solvent, solvent or UV-curable inks.
The paints used in the production of AS12 Pre-coiled Pipe Markers carry no hazard warning labels, contain no hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), are non-flammable and non-combustible, and are nickel-free.
